Book Review: Always, In December by Emily Stone

4/5! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved the romance in this book; it was the perfect amount of swoon-worthy and sweet. Both main characters were well-rounded and realistic, and I really enjoyed Part One of the book where the focus was on how Josie and Max met and spent several magical days together. The author, Emily Stone, did a great job immersing the reader in the various settings with her imagery. From London at Christmas and the English seaside to NYC in spring to a castle in Scotland, it was all lovely to imagine and immerse myself in.

I saw the big reveal coming pretty early on, so I wasn't as emotionally devastated as other readers reported being in their reviews, but it was definitely still a gut-wrenching ending.

I highly recommend "Always, In December" for your next cozy (but quality) holiday read!
