I would recommend this if you like detective stories, murder mysteries, and a little bit of dark academia.
This was my second Tana French novel and I think I liked it better than the first! It was also cool that this book’s main character was the secondary character in the book before it that I read (In The Woods). It’s not a sequel, you could definitely read this without having read In The Woods, but reading the first book did give me a better sense of the main character’s struggles in this one.
This book has great imagery and interesting characters, and starts off with a bang right in the first chapter. And the premise is really creative.
Another one to take a look at. You need to share your blog with more people. These reviews are awesome
